Pastor Jeff started working at FBH back in July of 1995 (before the internet). While he started as the Youth Pastor, he is now our Connections Pastor. In that role, it is his desire to see people connect in community with other followers of Jesus and to create environments where people can grow deeper and in greater maturity in their relationship with God. He also works with our Missions and Community Outreach; creating space for people to serve the world internationally and locally.
Pastor Jeff grew up in La Verne, CA and attended La Verne schools through High School. His family was heavily involved at First Baptist Church in Pomona, CA. This is where he made great connections with friends and through participation in the youth ministry and the influence of his youth pastor, received a call to full time ministry. Prior to coming to FBH, he was working in youth ministry at the First Baptist Church of Temple City. Something important for you to know is that one of his favorite foods growing up was hot dogs and macaroni and cheese.
He has been married to his bride, Kristin, since 1984 and has two adult children (Jacob and Rebekah) and a few super cute grandkids named Levi, Jack, and Noelle (be sure to ask Jeff to see the most recent photos). When he isn’t working he enjoys being outdoors on his bicycle (no more training wheels for him!), backpacking, or on a kayak with a fishing rod.
