We believe baptism is an outward representation of an inward decision. In the bible we see people get baptized after they have decided to follow Jesus and our goal is to follow the same Biblical model. If you have decided to follow Jesus but are yet to be baptized, we would encourage you to take that next step.
Membership at First Baptist Hanford is about belonging to a family of believers who walk together in faith, grow spiritually, and partner in God’s mission. It’s a way of saying “I’m all in”—committing to community, encouragement, and being part of something greater than yourself.
We believe that people have been created to be in relationship with God and with one another, and we are convinced that Small Groups are places where these relationships can grow. These groups are just what they sound like, groups of 8-15 people who share their lives together and encourage one another while growing in relationship with God.
Serving at First Baptist Hanford means using your God-given gifts to bless others and help create a space where people encounter Jesus.
